Dr Dixon So
Dr Dixon So, School of Accountancy, was appointed as warden of Kuo Mou Hall for a term of office from 23 June 2025 to 22 June 2027.
With the recommendation from colleagues, Dr Dixon So joined Shaw College. Dr So enjoys working in the College under its peaceful environment created by the unique location, plus its harmonious atmosphere and friendly colleagues. Taking up the role of warden, Dr So hopes to have deeper interactions and connections with students, exchanging thoughts on values and life issues with them in daily life to complement the educational space outside classrooms. Dr So stayed in boarding school during his secondary school years and student hostel in his first year of doctoral studies, however, as a warden, he could imagine the biggest challenge would be striking a balance between supporting students and fulfilling management responsibilities: how to maintain good order in student hostel without affecting students' living space? Dr So hopes to create a student hostel with an environment of mutual respect, understanding and assistance, as well as good communication and cooperation between staff and students.
