Eligibility
All students, staff and alumni of Shaw College
Requirements

Each participant can only submit ONE image (ie. one AI-generated image).

Participants must use AI tools/technology to create and enhance their image.

The submitted image must be original, unpublished, and created by the participant. There should be no infringement of any existing intellectual property rights. The organizer will not be held responsible for any consequences of rights infringement by the participants.

The image should be submitted in high-resolution JPEG or PNG format.

Through the online registration, participants are required to submit a title for the image (in both Chinese and English) and submit a description of the image (in Chinese or English) not exceeding 30 words.

The image shall not contain inappropriate or offensive content.

Late submission will not be considered.

Results will be announced in April 2025. Winners will be notified individually.

By joining the contests, the participants agree to accept that the College and the Committee has the right to display or publish the submitted image for use in any media or publication.

The decision of the Committee in all matters relating to these contests, including the selection of the winning image, is final.
Awards:
-
Winner, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up will be awarded with cash prizes: HK$2,000, HK$1,000 and HK$600 respectively. There are also 7 Merit prizes with HK$200 each. However, the committee reserve the right not to give awards if there is no suitable winner(s).

Each winner will also be awarded with a certificate.

Panel Judges:
Members of the Environmental Sustainability Committee and guests from CU/outside parties will serve as judges.
