Introduction
Our service objectives are to learn about the local social conditions and education problems, and to care for
the left-behind children as well as the seniors. During the service, we developed interesting courses for the
fourth grade primary students and organized home visits to some of the left-behind children, offering help to
them. Besides, we guided the children to the local elderly home, performing dances and singing to the elderly.
Reflection and Learning
We learnt to be grateful and treasure the moment by experiencing local tough conditions. Through organizing interesting courses, we improved our team-work, interpersonal skills and leadership skills. We also learned how to serve the community with empathy and care for the vulnerable groups sincerely.
