In order to promote a general awareness among students, staff and alumni on environmental issues, environmental sustainability activities such as eco-tours, AI image contest and eco-workshops are organized by the Environmental Sustainability Committee.
The College organizes the following activities to raise participants' awareness on the importance of nature conservation:
- Eco-tours to explore the nature of Hong Kong
- Eco-workshops to learn the know-how of making daily necessities/handcraft

The contest aims to inspire participants to leverage artificial intelligence technology to create images that highlight the significance of sustainable development. Cash awards and certificates will be presented to the winners. The winning entries will be showcased on the Shaw College website, promoting awareness and engagement in environmental sustainability activities.

The Subsidy Scheme aims to encourage students to launch a green project for the College, hostels, campus or the community, by providing a practical proposal on enhancing students' environmental awareness or improving the environment with the College's sponsorship.
The College set up the SDG Award to recognize students with outstanding achievements in United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related activities/competitions in the community.
