IELTS Preparation Workshop 2019/20 (Term 1)

It provides intensive preparation for the IELTS (Academic) test covering listening, academic reading, academic writing and speaking modules. This workshop focuses on identifying strategies and enhancing English language skills for academic purposes to gain maximum advantage in the IELTS (Academic) test.

Learning Without Borders: Ceramic Workshop for Beginners

Shaw College collaborated with "Lai Chan Kee" to organize Ceramic Workshop for Beginners.

In the course of ４sessions, participants were able to learn the basics of handbuilding and wheel throwing, while clearing off troubles from their minds and appreciate ceramics-making wholeheartedly.

Survival Cantonese Workshop for Non-Chinese Speaking Students

This workshop aims to equip non-Chinese Speaking students with basic Cantonese communication skills and knowledge of local culture to facilitate intercultural exchange with local students. Interactive learning activities with a strong emphasis on strengthening students' spoken Cantonese would be conducted through group discussions, role plays, games and out-of-classroom visits.
