An interview with Ms Candice Lam, retiring College Secretary

Ms Candice Lam has served as College Secretary of Shaw College since June 2012. On her retirement in August this year, we invited Candice to share with us her work in Shaw College.
Candice first joined the Dean of Students' Office of Shaw College in 1992 after moving from Chung Chi College where she worked since 1989. She worked in The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation and The Secretariat of The Legislative Council after leaving CUHK in 1994, and returned to Shaw College as College Secretary in June 2012.

An interview with Ms Jasmine Wong (Biomedical Sciences Year 2), Shaw College student

Jasmine chose to study at CUHK as she was impressed by its renowned and well-supported biomedical science programme and the closely-knit community. She heard that Shaw College was where the fun events were and was attracted by the robust atmosphere and fascinating people of the College, and therefore chose to join Shaw College.

An interview with Dr Allan Au, new warden of Student Hostel II

Dr Allan Au of the School of Journalism and Communication took up the position of warden of Student Hostel II this March. Dr Au had his undergraduate and Doctor of Philosophy study in CUHK. He returned to his alma mater as part-time lecturer in 2008, became a full-time teaching staff and joined Shaw College in 2016.
In Dr Au's impression, Shaw College is a rather free college, willing to accept new things and make different attempts without many restrictions. That is the reason Dr Au joined the Shaw family.
