This course adopts a service-learning approach to examine how environmental sustainability can be achieved in a fair, just, and equitable manner through impactful community service. By utilizing the environmental justice framework, students will explore how social inequalities shape the processes and outcomes of sustainable development. Environmental justice highlights the need to address the intersection of social justice and environmental issues.
